Right now my nails are Milani Holographic Hi-Tech and Friday Night Lights is on and I love Coach Taylor and I have Rex Goliath wine (and it might be bad and I don’t even care) and melon shisha and I am feeling GREAT.
Grad school in a traditional discipline sucks guys. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise, go somewhere that supports interdisciplinarity. Because otherwise they don’t think the internet is real and the internet is SO REAL. They don’t believe in feminism that is about gender & not just about white women and they don’t believe in vernacular theory and they don’t believe in TV or makeup or reading books that don’t have all sorts of statistically significant r-square values.

PSA. i would only add that if your interdiscipline is a postdiscipline then you have really won at life, though your postdiscipline will believe that winning is gross, so you need to lose your way into it, which is the best way, anyway.
